What if…
- we didn’t have websites and blogs to promote ourselves.
- we didn’t have Twitter to tell what we’re doing at any given moment.
- we didn’t have computers (or multiple computers) readily available to connect to the world and have information in our face in a matter of seconds.
- we didn’t have audio books or e-readers and had to sit quietly with bound pages to get the information.
- we didn’t have cell phones to keep us connected at all times.
- we didn’t have television to suck up our evenings.
- we didn’t have Career Builder or Monster to show us endless career options.
What if? Would we be less distracted? Would it be easier to focus? Would we be less inclined to wonder about purpose?
What if we turned them off for a few hours each week and gave our minds time to process what we’re really doing on this Earth? Would it make a difference?
